To better protect the ecological environment of Qinling Mountains and provide technical supports for the conservation work, a service center was officially established under Shaanxi Bureau of Surveying and Mapping (SHASM).

This is the first service center established in Shaanxi Province for Qinling Mountains. It's mainly responsible for data collection, update and maintenance.

Qinling Mountain range, a crucial geographical line in China, is also of biological significance. Vulnerable species such as panda and snub-nosed monkeys are thriving here.
