Wang had 21 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks while Zhou got 22 points, 26 rebounds and four blocks. Guangdong Southern Tigers on Monday claimed their record 27th straight win after defeating Zhejiang Golden Bulls 107-98. Yi Jianlian scored game-high 28 points, 10 rebounds for Guangdong and his teammate Zhao Rui contributed 20 points, five assists and six steals. Zhejiang came very close to defeating their opponents as they were the leading side most of the time. However, Guangdong's 3-pointer storm in the last quarter led to a 33-16 run which turned the tables.

In the last game on Monday night, the Jiangsu Dragons beat the Shandong Heroes 101-92. Antonio Blakeney and Wu Guanxi together scored 67 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists for Jiangsu.

Shanxi Loongs put an end to their awkward losing streak after defeating Qingdao Eagles 90-79. Ren Junwei scored game-high 23 points and 12 rebounds for Shanxi. Qingdao though saw five of their players reach double-digit points, none of them surpassed 15. After this loss, Qingdao dropped out of top 8. They need to work harder in the next two games if they want to return to the top scorer list.

Beijing Ducks beat Sichuan Blue Whales 84-73 on Monday, extending their winning streak to nine. Though Jeremy Lin sat on the competition, Zhai Xiaochuan scored court-high 23 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Together with Ekpe Udoh, who put down 20 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three blocks, the big-man pair dominated Sichuan's paint. After Monday's victory, Beijing Ducks continue to maintain a spot among the top three on the scores table.
