A wild giant panda was captured, biting infrared cameras in a nature reserve in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Video footage taken in March shows the panda taking on the first camera for a while before moving on to the second one.

There have been multiple reports showing giant pandas gnawing at the device. Experts in Sichuan said that in ancient times, the animal was named "iron-eating beast" as it intruded into villagers' houses looking for utensils made of bamboo, iron and copper. The infrared cameras are usually shelled by metal for solidity.
