The area where Beiwu Park sits in used to be one of the three mooring zones back in the Qing Dynasty. With the transformation of the surrounding environment, the place had gradually become a small village before it was remolded into a park. Covered by ample greenery, the site has had its natural views and keeps alignment with the landscape of nearby parks, such as the Summer Palace.
