Cinemas in Wuhan, once the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, reopened on Monday. They were closed for almost half a year when COVID-19 struck in late January. The reopening comes with strict preventive measures. Movie tickets must be purchased online using real name. Attendance at each screening is capped at 30 percent. Adjacent seats cannot be purchased. Moviegoers must wear masks throughout the screening. Strangers should observe a one-meter distance during their stay in the cinema.
