Vending machines replace human contact in takeaway restaurant

A restaurant chain in Tel Aviv is serving up food without any contact between staff and customers. Go Noodles restaurants instead use lockers with secret codes to pass orders to their diners, making it an ideal way to social distance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are no tables, waiters, or physical contact with another person. The food is placed in one of the compartments for customers to collect. Shmulik Gal, the owner of the chain, shows how diners receive a message with a code to unlock the box and get their order.
