As a hibernating animal, the marmot is active during the summer. It is easy to spot them foraging on the mountains and grassland of Keketuohai Geopark in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Marmot is the heaviest member of the squirrel family, with 15 species living in Asia. On the unspoiled land of Keketuohai, these ground squirrels have abundant food resources.
