Magnitude 6.6 quake hits Tibet: CENC

An M6.6 earthquake jolted Nyima County in Nagqu City, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region at 4:07 a.m. local time Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was detected at a depth of 10 kilometers, the CENC said.

So far, there have been no immediate reports of casualties.
