Guangzhou played and lost their last game this season, finishing it with a 10-34 record that put the team 18th of all 20 teams.
The Jilin Northeast Tigers suffered a big loss against the Zhejiang Lions 119-96 on Thursday, losing their last drop of hope to make the top 8. Jilin lost by 17, 12, and 9 points in Q 1, Q3, and Q4, respectively. They were only able to narrow the score difference down by a bit in Q2.
