Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on Wednesday visited the memorial hall for the Siping battle in the Chinese People's War of Liberation in Siping City, northeast China's Jilin Province. The memorial hall commemorates the history of four major battles between the Kuomintang (KMT) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) forces as well as the revolutionary martyrs.
