Live: Torrential rains continue to hit S China

Per forecast, torrential rains continue to lash vast stretches of southern China. China's Ministry of Water Resources has implemented a Level II emergency response, the second-highest in the response system, for the Yangtze River basin. The government is sparing no effort in rescue and relief work.
