In the Xing'an League in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a couple has been making a nature documentary since 2006.

Dong Guixin used to be a photojournalist, and he and his wife are now in their seventies. Their documentaries are mainly about natural scenery and wild animals, hoping to record environmental changes in their hometown.

In the past they had to travel far to film wild animals; in recent years, the ecological environment has improved, and in the suburbs they can encounter animals that were rare before.
