Chinese President Xi Jinping said the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) should become a new platform to promote development for all its members and facilitate the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. Xi made the remarks Tuesday while addressing the opening ceremony of the AIIB fifth annual meeting. CGTN is joined by Professor Liu Baocheng from the University of International Business and Economics. He talked about the significance of AIIB amid the pandemic and its role in global economic recovery.
