CSL highlights on July 30: Evergrande sweep R&F 5-0 in 'Guangzhou Derby'

Guangzhou Evegrande and Guangzhou R&F put up the first-leg "Guangzhou Derby" in Dalian on Thursday. After 90 minutes of competition, Evergrande walked over E&F 5-0. The five goals were made by Paulinho, Wei Shihao (2), Gao Zhunyi and Ai Kesen.

Shanghai Shenhua achieved their first win in the new CSL season by defeating Shenzhen F.C. 3-2 on Thursday. Zhao Mingjian, in the 9th minute, suddenly accelerated from the right-wing, breaking into the penalty area after dodging three defenders before scoring the first goal for Shanghai. Though Shenzhen made three changes during the half time to enhance offense, they soon lost the second goal in the 48th minute as Zhu Baojie made it 2-0 for Shanghai.

Though John Mary scored for Zhenshen with a smart push in the 50th minute, only 10 minutes later, Song Ju-hun earned a penalty kick for Shanghai, made by his compatriot Kim Shin-wook. Shanghai again, led by two goals (3-1).

Mary managed to score a penalty kick in the last minute, but it simply came too late for Shenzhen to reverse the situation.
