The Chinese-made ARJ21 passenger aircraft successfully completed its test flight at the world's highest civil airport in southwest China's Sichuan Province, indicating its operating range can cover all high-altitude airports and laying a solid foundation for opening up plateau routes in the future.

High altitude airports have thin air, complex terrain, and changeable weather, which place higher requirements on aircraft performance and operational support capabilities.
