Both CSL games on Friday ended with ties. Henan Jianye came so close achieving a comeback win over Dalian Professional. Sam Larsson scored first for Dalian in the 47th minute and then Dalian stood against Henan's fierce counter-strike for almost 40 minutes. The team's Swedish defender Marcus Danielson was sent off in the 86th minute by a red card after taking down Ivo. Moreover, this foul also gave Henan a penalty kick made by Henrique Dourado to make it 1-1. Six minutes later, the Brazilian striker had the chance to score the second goal for Henan, but it was disallowed by the referee who called it offside. As a result, Dalian avoided suffering the second straight comeback loss.
Earlier on Friday, after 90 minutes of competition, the CSL game between Shandong Luneng and Jiangsu Suning in Dalian ended goalless, the first 0-0 since the new season started. Shandong's newly introduced Hungarian defender Tamas Kadar was sent off three minutes after he stepped onto the field. The referee gave him a red card for fouling on Jiangsu's Wu Xi in the 70th minute.
