In India, COVID-19 cases continue to rise by tens of thousands every day and a new survey shows infection rates in slum areas in Mumbai stood at 57%. The samples were collected from around 7,000 people. High population density and lack of physical distancing are among reasons slum residents were more exposed to the virus. However, India is still preparing to relax some restrictions on Saturday, including reopening of gyms, and ending night curfews.
