Swallow 'floats' in the air to feed chicks in a lotus pond in Beijing

Lotus flowers in a pond in Lianhuachi Park, Beijing, are in full bloom. Swallow chicks stand on the lotus heads while their mother hovers and feeds them. Swallow chicks take forty to fifty days to become full-fledged after they hatch and fly away to live independently.
