Xi announces commissioning of BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System

Chinese President Xi Jinping, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), announced on Friday the commissioning of the BeiDou-3 Navigation Satellite System at a ceremony marking the completion and launching of the system.
