A wild giant panda was spotted by a park ranger at the Wanglang National Nature Reserve in Pingwu County, Mianyang City of Sichuan Province. The reserve is one of the oldest in China focusing on protecting rare wild animals such as giant pandas and their habitats.

Footage shows the panda moving leisurely towards the patrol car from around 30 meters away, before leaving two pieces of poop and walking back to the riverbank.

The panda seems to be a male weighing around 100 kilograms with a protruding sagittal crest.
