A trial for a floating hospital is currently underway in east China's Shanghai Municipality to deal with floods and water-logging during the rainy season. The mobile hospital consists of a floating platform and two detachable medical tents. It has an intensive care unit and a negative pressure ward, capable of dealing with common injuries and infectious diseases.
