'Naruto' voice actor Toshihiko Seki hospitalized for COVID-19

Japanese voice actor Toshihiko Seki has been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19, his agency 81 Produce announced.

The 58-year-old started having a fever on the night of July 31 and went to a hospital the next day. His coronavirus test result came out on Tuesday. His condition is stable currently.

The agency said the source of Seki's infection is unknown so far.

The prolific voice actor has played hundreds of roles in Japanese animations, including Iruka Umino in "Naruto" and Genjo Sanzo in "Saiyuki."
