Eran Zahavi scored the 100th goal in his CSL career which helped Guangzhou R&F avoid the third straight loss after their game against Henan Jianye ended on a 1-1 draw. Henan's Feng Boxuan scored first in the 10th minute and he was the first U23 player to score in the league this season. Then in the 59th minute, Zahavi slided to reach the 100-ball record with a tackle, assisted by his teammate Yi Teng via a header.
Unfortunately Guangzhou could not afford to be too happy about the result of the game. The team lost both of their games before Tuesday, scoring nothing and losing eight goals. A 1-1 draw will not change the fact that they are currently one of the worst performing teams in the league.

Shanghai Greenland Shenhua defeated Shandong Luneng 1-0 on Wednesday night, thanks to the game-winning goal by Kim Shin-wook in the 91st minute. The two sides spent 90 minutes goal-less on the field partly thanks to players' poor finishing ability and partly because of the goalkeepers' remarkable performance.
When the game was only minutes from ending, Shanghai plucked the ball in the middle field and Cao Yunding broke through Shandong's defense before passing it to Kim who was open. Kim scored for Shanghai with a cunning low shot.
This was the second straight win for Shanghai and the first loss for Shandong of the season.
