U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo continues to fire at China for made-up causes and one of his claims is that China seeks global hegemony. However, at the same time, it was the U.S. that kept withdrawing from international treaties and organizations willfully. Such behavior has already raised concerns over the possible impact on the future international order.

When asked about this issue in an interview with Xinhua News Agency, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi made it very clear that the U.S., as the strongest country in the world, posed a real challenge to the current international order and system by placing its own interests above everything else and following such a concept as its code of conduct.
