Steve Montgomery, a 57-year-old car salesman in San Antonio, Texas, U.S., has gained over-night fame for his "pandemic aesthetic philosophy" thanks to his daughter's recording and sharing of his photos online. /CFP

It was a surprise, as his daughter Kiana puts it, that her father's pictures "blew up" on social media, which she was just trying to show how goofy her father is. /CFP

Montogomery said he matches facemasks and ties every day in a "coordinating style" that resulted of serving in the army. To complete his look, Montgomery also loves to match his socks to his ties and face masks. /CFP

The masks were made by Montgomery's girlfriend, Qin Latimer, who came up with the idea of making face masks out of the pocket squares that usually come with his ties. /CFP

"I don't like all of those medical-looking masks, so I'm having fun with it and actually enjoy wearing a mask now", said Montgomery. He his girlfriend will make more of it in the future. /CFP
