Poyang Lake in east China's Jiangxi Province is the largest freshwater lake and the second largest lake in China. The lake water area expands and shrinks as season changes, creating completely different landscapes throughout the year.
During the wet season, the stretching lake connecting with clear blue sky forms a magnificent natural view.
Whilst in the dry season, a large area of meadow emerges after the water level goes down.
Poyang Lake is also home to some animals that are under state protection, such as the Milu deer, and the finless porpoise.
