Dalian Professional avoided a loss against Shanghai Shenhua thanks to the last-minute penalty from striker Salomon Rondon which secured a 2-2 draw. Kim Shin-wook scored to help Shanghai lead 1-0 in the seventh minute. Almost an hour later, Rondon made it 1-1 for Dalian. He received the ball from Tong Lei and beat his defender with a remarkable chesting of the ball, before breaking Zeng Cheng's goal. Then in the 73rd minute, Shanghai's Qian Jie gave his team the lead again with a free-kick. His shot flew over the man wall and went right into the lower right corner of the goal. However, it was Qian who pushed Rondon to the ground in the penalty area in the 92nd minute, giving Dalian a life-saving penalty opportunity that Rondon himself secured.
