Global COVID-19 cases exceeded 20 million on Tuesday, with more than 733,000 fatalities, according to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University.

The United States is the hardest-hit country in the world, with more than five million cases recorded nationwide and over 163,370 deaths.

Brazil has the world's second-largest caseload, with over three million confirmed infections and 101,752 deaths, according to the tally.

India, the third most affected country, has reported more than 2.2 million cases of infection and 44,386 fatalities.
