On August 10, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences issued admission letters to freshmen. A special gift sent along with the letters were sounds from the distant universe–signals from 15 pulsars recorded by a 500-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope (FAST). Thirteen of these pulsars were published to the world for the first time.
