Amid increasing uncertainties in world markets, China's foreign trade has beaten analysts' expectations in recent months. Total foreign trade volume rose by 6.5 percent year on year in July, with exports and imports up by 10.4 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively.
"It's fair to say that China's foreign trade has greatly beaten market expectations, which reflects the very strong resilience of the Chinese economy." Ni Yuefeng, head of General Administration of Customs (GAC), said in an interview.
