An eyewitness has released footage of a man who pulled out an object outside the White House and was then shot by the Secret Service on Monday. The man, identified as 51-year-old Myron Berryman, reportedly approached a uniformed Secret Service officer just blocks from the White House and told the officer he had a weapon. U.S. President Donald Trump, who was speaking at a White House briefing, was advised by the Secret Service to leave the news room. When back to the briefing, Trump said the shots were fired by law enforcement on an individual, which was the suspect, but he didn't know the condition of the person shot, who had been sent to a hospital.
