Namtso, which means "Heavenly Lake" in the Tibetan language, is the highest saline lake on our planet, 4,718 meters above sea level. It's defined by its pure blue water and surreal beauty and is described as being next to heaven.

Covering around 2,000 square kilometers, it is worshiped by locals as one of the three most sacred lakes along with Yamdrok and Manasarovar.
