Recently, a double lotus which produced two blossoms from the same stalk attracted many tourists' attention at the old site of Xi'an Botanical Garden, located in Xi'an City of northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

According to an expert, double lotus is very rare to see as it can only grow in nature, and humans cannot produce it as the DNA cannot be duplicated. This is only the second time that a double lotus has been seen in this botanical garden in 61 years.
