Beirut is still reeling from the catastrophic blast that ripped through its port on August 4, causing massive damage around the Lebanese capital.

Prime Minister Hassan Diab called it a "disaster beyond measure" on Monday as he announced his resignation.

More than 150 people lost their lives while about 6,000 people were injured and 300,000 were left homeless in the explosion.
