Xinfadi, a large wholesale market of fruits, vegetables and meat, reopened after its business was suspended due to a COVID-19 cluster about two months back. People entering the market must pass a facial recognition system and have their temperature checked at the entrance. "The reopened Xinfadi market has canceled all retail business and will no longer be open to individual consumers, but will only cater to its wholesale business. To meet retail demands from the surrounding residents, a new convenience food market has been set up outside the wholesale market," said Zhou Xinchun, deputy head of Fengtai District.
