Here are the latest COVID-19 updates from around the world

- The Brazilian Ministry of Health reported 41,576 new COVID-19 cases and 709 more deaths on Saturday. The national caseload has risen to 3,317,096 with the death toll hitting 107,232, according to the ministry. 

- The French Health Ministry reported 3,310 new coronavirus infections on Saturday, setting a new post-lockdown high for the fourth day in a row and taking the country's cumulative cases to 215,521.

- Morocco on Saturday reported 1,776 new COVID-19 cases, the biggest single-day increase so far, taking the number of infections in the country since March 2 to 41,017. The total recoveries increased by 922 to 28,556, while the death toll rose by 21 to 632 in the past 24 hours.

- The Colombian Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Saturday 11,578 new cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus to 456,689. The death toll in the country stands at 14,810.

- South African President Cyril Ramaphosa on Saturday announced that the country's total number of confirmed cases hit 583,653 after 4,513 new cases were reported. The death toll in the country stands at 11,667.
