The mascot for the 31st World University Games – Rong Bao – has got some real life inspiration. Three-year-old giant panda Zhi Ma from the Chengdu Panda Base was chosen as the prototype on Wednesday. Zhi Ma, meaning "sesame," beat off competition from three other candidates to win the honor through an online vote. He's considered the panda who looks most similar to the mascot.
