The common bean blooms small white flowers in Jianchuan County, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Yunnan Province. A local specialty, it prefers to live in cool, sunny environments. Jianchuan County is home to common beans thanks to its high altitude and cold climate.
