Professor Tao Yong, a senior oculist at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, was seriously injured when a former patient attacked him with a knife on January 20. After months of treatment, he returned to work. "Now I can't perform surgery any more, I will focus on scientific research and promotion of medical knowledge," said Tao in an interview with CGTN on the occasion of China's Medical Workers' Day.
