Mudskippers bask in the sun in east China
CGTN

In an August 2020 afternoon, mudskippers took full advantage of high tide to jump on to the seawall and basked in the sun of Jiaozhou Bay in Qingdao City in east China's Shandong Province.

Mudskippers rely on pectoral fins and tail stalks to crawl or jump on to sand or rocks. When they sense danger, these amphibious fish dive into the soil or jump away quickly.
