China's table tennis Olympic preparation event continued in Hainan Province on Thursday. In the women's team event, Chen Meng, Wang Manyu and Sun Yingsha got past Gu Yuting, Chen Xingtong and Sun Mingyang 3-0 to win the title.

Gu and Chen led 9-8 in the first doubles match, but Chen and Wang won six straight points to take the opener 11-9. Chen and Wang then extended the advantage to 2-0 and quickly sealed the win 3-0 to put their side 1-0 up.

In the second singles match, Sun Mingyang, in black, fought back to claim the first game 13-11. But Sun Yingsha came back strong for a 2-1 lead and took the second round 3-1 when Sun's return went long.

Wang Manyu faced Chen Xingtong in the third session, who served to add to her 1-0 lead with a 7-5 advantage when Chen's return hit to the net. Wang soon increased the gap to 2-0 and sealed the victory 3-0 to claim the title.

The Olympic practice test run until this Friday, with the men's team title on offer.
