Huludao, a popular tourist destination next to the Bohai Bay, is known as the "West Gate of Liaoning Province." The city introduced several programs in May to restore its coastal environment and the marine ecology. The programs expect to restore 292 hectares of wetlands and 11.1 kilometers of coastal lines by September.
