As autumn sneaks in with pleasant weather, flocks of egrets and waterfowl have appeared in the wetland area of Erlitou Archaeological Park, in Luoyang City of central China's Henan Province.

According to the staff, lush aquatic plants, which were cultivated when the park was built, and the improving environment have attracted many birds to the area.

Erlitou Archaeological Park, which also houses Erlitou Relic Museum, exhibits the history of ancient China's first recorded dynasty of Xia (2070-1600 BC).
