A supersized puffball was discovered in Malan Mountains in northwest China's Shaanxi Province. The puffball has a diameter of 32 centimeters and is 25 centimeters tall. It is quite rare for puffballs to grow to this size.
Puffballs get its name from clouds of brown dust-like spores emitted when the mushroom's mature fruitbody burst or is impacted.
