Chinese Valentine's Day: Distance not to keep lovers apart
04:54

Qixi Festival, familiarly known as Double Seventh, celebrates the annual rendezvous between a cowherd named Niu Lang on Earth, and Zhi Nu, the "weaver girl" and seventh daughter of the Mother Queen in Heaven. In the classic poem written by Song-Dynasty poet Qin Guan, "Immortals at the Magpie Bridge," he shares the personal understanding of love. The couple needn't be physically together as long as they love each other deeply.
