Several vinaceous rosefinches, a species of finch, were spotted in Chonqing's Jinfo Mountain foraging. The males have beautiful dark crimson feathers while the females are olive-brown.  Naturally attracted to temperate forests and subtropical or tropical dry forests, they visit the Jinfo Mountain Nature Reserve every year between July and September.
