Mandatory face mask-wearing will be lifted for outdoor sports and parks on August 28, the region's Food and Environmental Hygiene Department said in a press briefing.
Restaurants will also be allowed to run dine-in services until 9:00 p.m. from August 28, extended from 6:00 p.m.
On August 24, the number of new COVID-19 cases dropped to a single-digit for the first time since the beginning of July, with nine infections.
