This year marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. The historic decision has transformed the city into a model economy not only for other parts of China, but beyond. Often referred to as China's Silicon Valley, Shenzhen has been and continues to be the foundation for the country's technological innovation. It's home to many global industry leaders. During a roundtable discussion, academics and entrepreneurs shared their stories about Shenzhen as well as the achievements and opportunities it has brought to the world.
