Ordos, a city in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, has a big community of ethnic Mongolians. In Ordos, 12,932 students sat the 2020 national college exam known as Gaokao. 

In this episode of the Gaokao 2020 series, Su Yan, an ethnic Mongolian, takes center stage as an arts recruit for morin khuur, or horsehead fiddle. She finished her last Gaokao item in Wushen Banner, Ordos City, on July 9.
