Blue skies and clouds are reflected in Yanhu Salt Lake in the city of Yuncheng, north China's Shanxi Province, attracting thousands of white birds. Seen from above, they look like pearls scattered across the lake's surface. The birds seem to linger and not want to leave. Covering 70 square kilometers in area, the lake is one of the world's oldest and largest salt lakes.
